2020 is set to be a momentous year: it marks the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, our city will host the Republican National Convention, the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources is celebrating the Year of the Woman, and we will be opening a temporary exhibit on women’s suffrage in North Carolina. We want to keep the themes of women changing history through political action going as we facilitate an open group discussion on women’s activism.
